Shaw help Eskimos down Lions

Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Grant Shaw connected on four field goals Friday, including the go-ahead boot late in the third quarter and the Edmonton Eskimos knocked off the British Columbia Lions, 27-14, at BC Place.

Hugh Charles racked up 118 yards on 20 carries and added three catches for 61 yards. Steven Jyles completed 10-of-16 passes for 150 yards before leaving the game in the third quarter due to a stiff neck. Kerry Joseph hit on 4-of-6 through the air for 60 yards in relief.

Dobson Collins caught a pair of balls for 64 yards and Joe Burnett snared two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown for the Eskimos (3-1), who moved into a first-place tie with Saskatchewan in the West Division.

Travis Lulay threw for 315 yards on 25-of-35 passing, and had one touchdown and two interceptions. Andrew Harris caught 11 passes for 120 yards and ran for 65 yards and a score on nine carries for the Lions (2-2), who suffered their first home loss of the season.
