Bombers release DB Walls

Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers released defensive back Lenny Walls on Friday.

Walls participated in all 18 games for the Bombers in 2009 and finished with 47 tackles, seven interceptions with one returned for a touchdown, along with one fumble returned for a score.

The Boston College product also helped Calgary win the Grey Cup in 2008 with 23 tackles after being signed that September.
