Obligatory Sports Babe
I'm not going to lie to you. It makes me a little bit uncomfortable posting pictures of beautiful women for the sole purpose of objectification.
It feels wrong. Even dirty. So dirty. Very, very dirty.
This is Francois Boufhal, and if you're actually curious as to why she should be included in this post, I heard that tickets just went on sale for Nathan Lane's latest broadway show.
Francois is from Hexham in England, where Irish goalkeeper Shay GIven once played at some level of English football.
And a connection to sports doesn't get more tenuous than that, right?
Quote Of The Day
“We support you Big Ben. Prayers and love. He’s like one of my children,” says Steelers fan Kathy Najdzinski, in the most one-sided relationship since I dated Miranda McGuire.
Yeah, Rothelsberger couldn't be more like your son if you had given birth to a child who was accused of holding a co-ed in the bathroom of a bar to force himself upon her.
You must be so proud.
Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!
It would be pretty difficult not to support F1 driver Mark Webber in his pursuit of making his team, sponsored by Red Bull, look like idiots.
Despite obvious favourtism being given to his teammate Sebastian Vettle by management, the veteran Aussie won another grand prix this morning. This time, in Hungary. The win vaults Webber into the overall points lead on the F1 circuit.
We'll Take Him
As mentioned yesterday, MLB's trade deadline came and went, and it's now official, the Yankees have traded for every player in baseball.
Austin Kearns, Lance Berkman and Kerry Wood all joined the Bronx Bombers in the last few days in what Yankees blog RIver Avenue Blues calls, a trade deadline The Boss would be proud of. I'm not sure if Bruce Springsteen knows but Kerry Wood was miraculously not hurt in the transaction.
Adios And Happy Trails
Sens fans must be in mourning after long time Ottawa tough guy Jeremy Yablonski signed on with the New York Islanders. Binghamton will never be the same.
Glove drop to Sens Chirp for the video.
