Kid Rock Keeps It Real

Robert James Ritchie or Kid Rock, as he is affectionately also known as, was in Chicago last night to throw out the first pitch as part of Mullet Night celebrations at U.S. Cellular Field.

Mr. Rock showed his support for the hard nosed characters who define the Chicago sports scene by wearing a t-shirt with the names of Dick Butkus, Chris Chelios and Leroy Brown creatively printed on its back in like, a totally masculine font.

In addition to Leroy Brown being a fictional character who ends up getting beaten up by a regular joe with a hot wife (not so tough now, are you Leroy?), I'm pretty sure Dick Butkus doesn't spell his name with an "i."  Oh that Kid Rock, so in touch with the Chicago community.

All this talk of Kid Rock brings up a serious cultural question: What's more embarrassing, the late 1980s or early 2000s?
