Bruins Score; Don't Woo
The Boston Bruins blog, Days of Y'Orr, has begun a campaign, slightly more impactful than a Facebook group page, to get the Bruins to change the public address announcement that celebrates those all too few and far between goals that the Bs score.

If you have been to a Bruins game over the past couple years, surely you've heard the post-goal announcment. The PA announcer dude reads off the goal scorer, the assists, etc. Then he plays a recording of Ric Flair's famous "Wooooooooooooo!" But we've got a better idea. Why not honor [Fred] Cusick [who passed away less than a year ago] by playing a sound byte of his famous "Score!" after every Bruins goal? Surely a much better way to celebrate a goal and honor a man that meant so much to both the Bruins and fans alike.
Now, I know what your thinking: Dustin, how could you not support the proliferation of the one meme that never, ever grows tiresome?
It's a hard choice, but that "score" call is even better than listening to Bostonians pronounce "Bourque." Besides, I'm writing about this on The Score's website. Tell me they're not loving the free brand promotion. Say "score" all you want, but maybe keep the "woo" for fighting majors and game misconducts.
