WIN: Classic Sneaker Ads

As the TV spots for Reebok's new EasyTone sneaker point out, if advertisers are to be believed, the shoes are suppose to help women tighten and shape the ever important booty muscles.  All I know is that it's a pretty good commercial.  Reebok's clever new ad got JoshQPublic thinking about the top sneaker ads of all-time.  I'm not much of a sneaker freak; I tend to wear a pair of shoes until the soles of my feet touch pavement, but athletic sneakers have made for some of the best television commercials of the last 20 years.  I strongly advise you to check out the complete list at JoshQPublic so you can enjoy the awkwardly awesome hip-hop verses by Kevin McHale and Larry Bird, Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine asking if Mark McGwire's power is due to his shoes (ironic, isn't it?), a pre-Heat-hatred LeBron James spot with the late Bernie Mac (Amen!), and more.  Here's a sampling of classic sneaker ads to wet your proverbial whistle:

Larry Johnson/Grandmama

Godzilla Vs. Charles Barkley
