Curry Rolls Surgically Repaired Ankle

The Golden State Warriors have one of the most loyal and rabid fanbases in the NBA, and while they usually don't have much to cheer about, those fans head into the 2012-13 season with some loftier expectations than usual.

With Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Klay Thompson and No. 7 overall draft pick Harrison Barnes in tow, the Warriors might have some playoff potential if they can keep their key players healthy.

Unfortunately, when two of your key players are Curry and Bogut, staying healthy is easier said than done, and on Friday night, fans in the Bay Area got a painful reminder of that, as Curry rolled the same ankle that was recently surgically repaired.

Curry left the game for "precautionary reasons," according to the team's official twitter account. As for Bogut, he's reportedly set to see a specialist for his own ankle issues, and has yet to suit up in a pre-season game.
