The Infield Fly Call

As you may have heard, there was a bit of controversy in the NL Wild Card play-in game between the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. With the Braves down 6-3 in the bottom of the 8th, Andrelton Simmons hit a pop fly to shallow left which was then ruled an infield fly by the umpires.
The call has even more of an impact as it changed the Braves' situation from bases loaded with one out to runners on 2nd and 3rd with two out. The Braves failed to score after an 18-minute delay caused by fans throwing debris on the field and ended up losing the game by that same 6-3 final.
