Bobby V's Bike Presser

Bobby Valentine -- recently dubbed "the world's youngest senile man" around these parts -- does things a bit differently than the so-called "average human being." What most of us classify as bizarre or eccentric, he considers daily life or routine.

Earlier this season Valentine had to abruptly change his line up after he posted an incorrect one. Why was it incorrect? He chose to scout an opposing pitcher on his cell phone and got his handedness wrong. Earlier this week it was made public that Bobby V crashed his bike in the middle of Central Park reading a text from Dustin Pedroia to avoid a pair of French tourists.

This is also the man who disguised himself to stay in the dugout after an ejection while manager of the New York Mets.

Avid cyclist that he is, Bobby Valentine opted to have his exit press conference from the Red Sox organization on a bike in the middle of a street, and peppered that press conference with some colourful analogies.
