Take-Out Slide Ignites Brawl In Minor League Game

A bench-clearing brawl broke out in a minor league game between the Mobile BayBears (double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) and Mississippi Braves (take a guess which team they're the double-A affiliate for) on Saturday night, after the BayBears' Rossmel Perez took out the legs of Braves pitcher Michael Tarsi with a slide at home plate.

Here's video of the brawl, which occurred with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning:

According to Joe Lucia of The Outside Corner, Perez, Braves catcher Christian Bethancourt, Braves third baseman Alden Carrithers, and BayBears manager Turner Ward were all ejected from the game, but Tarsi was for some reason allowed to stay in the game after throwing punches at Perez.
