Cubs Players Dress Up As Superheroes

The Chicago Cubs had "Superheroes Day" on Sunday, where the players (and even manager) dressed up in costumes after their game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium, and were to wear the costumes until they arrived in Pittsburgh for their series against the Pirates.

Below, we have some of the best Superheroes Day pictures taken by Cubs reporters Carrie MuskatDoug Padilla, and Patrick Mooney.

Reed Johnson (with a wig) as Cubs general manager Jed Hoyer, and Jeff Baker as Cubs President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein:

Scott Maine as Waluigi, Steve Clevenger as Wario, and Bryan LaHair as Super Mario:

David DeJesus as He-Man:

Geovany Soto as a Ghostbuster:

Carlos Marmol as Zorro:

Tony Campana fittingly (he's 25 of 28 on stolen base attempts) as Flash :

Jeff Samardzija as Jesus, which didn't even require a haircut:

Darwin Barney as Toad:

Cubs manager Dale Sveum as Hellboy:

I think Reed Johnson and Jeff Baker are the winners here, but great costume efforts all around.
