Adam Scott's British Open Collapse

Adam Scott had a four-shot lead with four holes to go in the final round of the 2012 British Open (or, The Open Championship), and incredibly, didn't win the tournament.

Scott bogeyed each of the final four holes, and Ernie Els, who entered the day seven shots behind Scott, rallied from behind to win by one stroke in stunning fashion.

Scott's collapse was very painful to watch, and it was especially painful to see him miss a very makeable putt on the 18th that would've put him in a playoff with Els (the missed putt is at the 4:00 mark of the video):

Somebody please buy Mr. Scott a drink.
