"Sonics Advance To Finals, Oh Wait"

The Tri-City Herald, a newspaper in Kennewick, Washington (about a four-hour drive from Seattle), used a headline in Thursday's sports section that sums up the feelings of people in the Seattle area right now:

While the headline may make it seem like the newspaper is trolling the local Sonics fans, you can see that the subhead says, "Oklahoma City steals team, and steals game from San Antonio." And that of course comes across as bitter, but you'd surely feel the same way as a Sonics fan. Still, a newspaper should probably be handling such a situation in a more professional manner.

It will be interesting to see what headline the Tri-City Herald will go with if the Thunder win the title.
