High School Soccer Brawl!

Hmmm… the title just doesn’t have the same ring to it as “baseketbrawl.” Meh.

Anyway, I guess high school soccer players in Mississippi have decided that anything a bunch of Alabama basketball players can do (like getting into an on-court dustup, as we posted early), they can do better. Because ho-lee! Here, from Out Of Bounds, is real effing class act Zach Windom of Gulfport High deciding to tackle and start wailing on Northwest Rankin’s Arlington Shirley. If you ask me, it’s pretty much the biggest piece of shit move ever (this week).

Shirley allegedly broke his wrist during the incident and “the situation could become a legal matter,” says the Rankin Clarion-Ledger. However, they also report that “Hinds County Chief Deputy Sheriff Steve Pickett said Tuesday that neither party had contacted the sheriff's office to his knowledge but that the matter brought up several ‘gray areas.’”

Presumably the “gray areas” this winner is referring to are the bruises Shirley took when he was thrown to the ground and repeatedly punched in the face for absolutely no reason.
