Ten Ads For Super Bowl XLVI

Super Bowl XLVI is almost upon us, which means millions of people who wouldn't normally clear a 4-hour block of their Sunday evening for football will be tuning in to catch a glimpse at any number of the commercials that will air on NBC during the game. Advertisers ponied up $3.5 million a pop for 30-second spots, and many leaned on some star power to help push their products, too. Elton John sells his soul for Pepsi, David Beckham hawking underwear, Mean Joe Greene reprises himself in a nod to a classic commercial and even Mark Cuban gets in on the ad action. 

High priced ads and a Madonna half-time show add up to one big spectacle. There may even be a football game going between the commercials!

We've already highlighted Matthew Broderick's Ferris Bueller Honda spot and a few other notables. Our fellow Canadian viewers won't get to see a lot of the ads slated to air on American networks, so with that in mind here's a smattering of commercials that will air tonight during Super Bowl XLVI:
