B1G & Big 12 Helmet Concept Art
Now before anyone gets excited, or launches into a fit of outrage, we must note that these helmet designs are just concept art. They are the work of a Missouri based designer named Charles Sollars.
Mr. Sollars created some unique and interesting designs for teams in the B1G and Big 12, with an ode to Nike's Pro Combat helmet designs. Head over to Sollars' Flickr page for a complete gallery, but here's a look at a few notable designs:
Penn State
I have to say, I'm a fan of this one. It's a simple approach, but a fantastic upgrade from the drab look of PSU's logo-less look. For a program that's seeking to change its image, I'd consider exploring the possibility of integrating something like this into their uniforms.
Kansas State
Another relatively simple concept here, and it doesn't stray too far away from the Wildcats' traditional helmet.

The Jayhawks' logo on this one is far too intrusive.
