Wild Arkansas Punt Return TD
Down 37-0 in the third quarter last night against Arkansas, Missouri State's football team finally had something go right for them. Well, for a second anyway.
Arkansas punt returner Joe Adams got a bit greedy(but it's understandable since he had a 61-yard punt return touchdown earlier in the game) by trying to return a bouncing punt, and muffed it. But, Missouri State failed to recover the ball(because that's how things were going for them), and Adams eventually picked it up at least 10 yards behind the the spot he had failed to get it the first time. Then, he ran all over the field, and eventually ended up with an unbelievable 78-yard touchdown return. Basically, he got his Devin Hester on.
Here's video of the play:
Amazing, but he probably won't be able to pull off the "muff the punt and then zigzag for 80 yards" routine when Arkansas enters conference play in the SEC. I'd sure like to see him try, though.
As for the game, Arkansas would go on to win 51-7.
