Cows Cause Cycling Crash

The Critérium du Dauphiné, a cycling race in France that's a warm-up for the Tour de France, was interrupted yesterday by cows. Yes, cows. And they caused quite a crash.

A herd of cattle ran onto the road where the cyclists were riding, and just kept running on the road like they were a part of the race. Well, the cyclists of course were not expecting that, and several of them went down as the cows crossed their path. I've yet to find any details in regards to the severity of the injuries suffered, but at least a couple of the cyclists looked to be in quite a bit of pain.

And everybody trashes the cyclists for taking performance-enhancing drugs. They have massive cows randomly running on the course to deal with! They need to be strong enough to handle the contact.
