Shaq's Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a relatively common disorder in which sufferers a) snore very loudly and b) occasionally stop breathing during sleep. It's linked with everything from obesity to death, and millions of people suffer from mild-to-moderate sleep apnea.

Shaquille O'Neal is one of them. Shaq agreed to take part in a Harvard University sleep study after some prodding from his concerned wife, Nikki Alexander. He recorded his experience to help raise awareness of a disorder that seems minor, but can turn into kind of a big deal.
