Few training sessions will be as intense as FC Schalke 04's ahead of its encounter with rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Thousands of fans were invited to Friday's training session to make sure their team received a proper send-off ahead of the 147th Ruhr derby at the Westfalenstadion on Sunday.
Thunderous cheers and flares all around the training ground created a brilliant atmosphere as Schalke attempts to exact revenge on Dortmund after losing 3-0 during last season's away fixture.
