Berlin - Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund want a perfect six wins from six games when they face struggling Hoffenheim away on Wednesday in their bid to stay ahead of Bayern Munich.

Under new coach Thomas Tuchel, Dortmund have got off to a flying start this season with 11 wins in all competitions, including a perfect record of five Bundesliga victories.

Defending champions Bayern, who want to be the first team to win four straight league titles, have also won all of their Bundesliga matches so far and are second only on goal difference.

Pep Guardiola's Bavarian giants have won the title for the last three seasons at a canter and Borussia captain Mats Hummels is wary of getting carried away with results so far.

"We had already started with five wins two years ago, then experienced a slump in November and December when we dropped 15 points," recalled Hummels of the 2013/14 season when Bayern eventually won the title from Dortmund by 19 points.

Guardiola's Bayern and Dortmund are on a collision course to meet at Munich's Allianz Arena on October 4 in a mouth-watering contest.

Under Tuchel, Dortmund are scoring at will with Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hitting six league goals so far.

Germany winger Marco Reus is set to face Hoffenheim after shaking off a toe injury, while midfielder Sven Bender is also expected to return.

Centre-back Neven Subotic again sits out with a back injury having missed Sunday's 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Having won just a point so far this season, Hoffenheim are 15th in the table, just above the bottom three, but Tuchel says his side will be taking nothing for granted in Sinsheim.

"Hoffenheim's performances so far this season are better than the table suggests," insisted Tuchel while Hoffenheim struggle for goals after selling Roberto Firmino to Liverpool and Frenchman Anthony Modeste to Cologne.

Dortmund have scored 18 times so far this season and Tuchel is hoping the goal-factory, with Japan's attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa calling the shots, stays in full production.

"We know we are in a position to creat chances against different oppositions in different formations," said Tuchel confidently.
