Professional athletes making the transition to other sports is rarely a pretty sight.
Mario Gotze is a perfect example, as he failed on the pitcher's mound throwing out the first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers game Friday.
While his form left a lot to be desired, his execution was downright pitiful.
Poor A.J. Ellis looked like he hurt his back during his lunging effort to save Gotze from launching the ball into the backstop.
