Bayern Munich's Robben forced to leave match with injury
Arjen Robben was forced to make a premature exit from Bayern Munich's match Sunday with an apparent injury.
The Dutch midfielder appeared to hurt himself following a heavy fall against Borussia Monchengladbach and was seen clutching his side as he came off inside the first half hour of the game.
Fortunately, Bayern have enough depth to offset an injury to one of their best players, as Thomas Muller was brought in to replace Robben.
It's not clear whether this injury is associated with the pinched nerve in his back that he suffered during Bayern's 7-0 thrashing of Shakhtar Donetsk. That injury forced him to miss one Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen.
With the league all but wrapped up, Bayern will hope Robben is fit by the time their Champions League quarterfinal match with Porto takes place on April 15.
