Report: Injury suffered by Marco Reus in German Cup match not serious

Ruhr Nachrichten's Florian Groeger reports that star attacker Marco Reus suffered only a minor bruise in Tuesday's DFB-Pokal victory over Dynamo Dresden, and is not dealing with ligament damage as was initially feared.
It remains unclear whether the German international suffered the knock to his knee or thigh.
Reus collided with Dresden player Dennis Erdmann, crumbling to the turf and immediately conjuring fear among the club's supporters that the oft-injured star could be set for another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Thankfully, it seems, that is not the case.
"Reus ran against my knee, and suffered a thigh knock," Erdmann said, as translated by ESPN FC. "I played in the Kreisliga (the lowest division in German football) in the past. There, you'd have only looked at it, rubbed it, and played on. But I don't think that's common in the Bundesliga business these days."
Reus, 25, has made only 19 appearances for the club this season as he has battled through a series of ankle problems.
