Borussia Dortmund's Piszczek ruled out for 6 weeks
Borussia Dortmund received some tough news a day after their Champions League loss to Juventus when Lukasz Piszczek was ruled out of action for up to six weeks.
The team confirmed the extent of the injury Wednesday, as the Polish defender was forced to leave Tuesday's contest after suffering an ankle injury during a collision.
The injury couldn't have occurred at a worse time for the Bundesliga club. They appeared to be finding their feet in the league after an atrocious start to the year, but results could be harder to come by without Piszczek on the back line.
Dortmund will have a tough time finding a replacement for the Polish international. Piszczek's started 19 matches this season and has been a solid component on a defence that's been disappointing this year.
