Report: Shinji Kagawa suffers groin injury in training, can play Saturday vs. Freiburg
Borussia Dortmund reportedly suffered another injury scare on Thursday.
According to Bild, Shinji Kagawa, who rejoined Dortmund during the summer transfer window after two disappointing seasons at Manchester United, suffered a groin injury that forced him to depart his team's training session prematurely.
However, there's no need for Dortmund supporters to panic as the same report suggests Kagawa will be fit to play against Freiburg on Saturday, a fixture that will mark his first match for Die Borussen since he rejoined the club.
It's been a brutal September for Borussia injury-wise as Marco Reus is expected to miss four weeks after partially tearing ankle ligaments, Ciro Immobile is dealing with a hip injury, Jakub Blaszczykowski tore a muscle in training and is expected to miss four weeks, and Nuri Sahin is out two months after undergoing knee surgery.
