Germany manager Joachim Low still has unfinished business with the country's national team.

Despite leading his team to a World Cup title earlier this month, the manager confirmed he will indeed see out the remaining two years on his contract, meaning he will be at the helm of Die Mannschaft at Euro 2016 in France.

The 54-year-old signed a contract extension last November that took him through the aforementioned tournament, and says that he never had any thoughts about stepping away from his post.

“Not for a second – I didn’t extend my contract until 2016 just to break it early,” he said in an interview on the German Football Association’s website.

“I just needed a few days to get a grip of all my feelings and for my focus to become clear again.”

Low has been on the German bench since 2006, when he replaced compatriot Jurgen Klinsmann.

After his appointment, Jogi led the team to the semifinals of three consecutive major tournaments (Euro 2008, World Cup 2010, and Euro 2012) before finally achieving the ultimate goal in Brazil.
