Bayern Munich announced the capture of Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy from Hoffenheim on Sunday.

The pair will complete the season at Hoffenheim before linking up with their new team in July, according to a brief statement on Bayern's website.

"We're very satisfied and delighted Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy are joining us," Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.

"Signing two Germany internationals is an investment in FC Bayern's future. Sebastian Rudy joins us on a free transfer. In the case of Niklas Sule we have reached a fair and serious agreement with TSG Hoffenheim."

Terms of the agreement were not revealed.

The Bavarians revealed that Rudy, 26, agreed to a three-year contract, while Sule, 23, put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

"It's an absolute dream for me to go to Munich. FC Bayern are one of the greatest clubs in the world," Rudy said. "In terms of it being a farewell I feel a little wistful too," declared Hoffenheim's home-grown talent Sule, but also pointed to the great chance of "maturing further with one of the best teams in the world."

Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen is not looking forward to losing the pair, but took comfort in the work his club has accomplished during the nurturing process of its young talent.

"Of course it is a big loss to have to lose two players of their stature," Rosen said on the team's website. "But on the other hand it highlights the work we've been putting in here at Hoffenheim."
