Dortmund's Mor banned 2 matches
Borussia Dortmund will be without teenage talent Emre Mor for two matches after the midfielder was banned by the German Football Association (DFB) on Monday.
The DFB announced the suspension with a statement on its website.
Mor, 19, was shown a red card by match official Patrick Ittrich in the 84th minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin after a skirmish between he and Sebastian Langkamp saw the diminutive Turkish international push his opponent.
While Langkamp's reaction was dramatic to say the least, Ittrich had blown the whistle prior to Mor's intervention, prompting the player's first sending off in a Dortmund kit.
Langkamp has since admitted as much, saying, "It was a bit over the top, what I did in that incident with Mor."
"I just got a bit carried away by the atmosphere and tend to exaggerate in the heat of the moment," Langkamp added. "I'm sorry because it shouldn't have been a red card for Mor."
Mor's red card was followed by one for Hertha midfielder Valentin Stocker six minutes later. The DFB has since slapped Stocker with a three-match ban for a violent tackle on Dortmund defender Matthias Ginter.

Neither Dortmund nor Mor will appeal the decision, meaning the summer signing from Nordsjaelland will miss out on next weekend's visit to Ingolstadt and a domestic-cup tilt with second-tier Union Berlin.
