Lewandowski relaxed over new Bayern contract: 'We'll find a solution'

Robert Lewandowski isn't bothered by ongoing talks over a reported new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific scorer's representatives are said to be in the final stages of completing a new deal with Bayern, one that will reportedly see Lewandowski surpass Thomas Muller to become Bayern's highest-paid player.

Although his agents, Cezary Kucharski and Maik Barthel, were at Bayern's training ground Wednesday, Lewandowski admitted he's been left in the dark but remains confident the two sides will reach an agreement.

"I have no idea what happened there and if they only had coffee or went into more detail," Lewandowski told reporters.

"I have always said we'll find a solution. We need to remain calm, it isn't that easy once the season is underway. We play every three days, and that's most important for me."

Sport Bild reported Wednesday that a new contract will extend Lewandowski's stay at the Allianz Arena until 2021.
