A German attacking midfielder, a Brazilian forward, and a Colombian forward are reportedly set to join Manchester City.

According to Jamie Jackson of the Guardian, Pep Guardiola is closing in on Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, and Marlos Moreno in a triple move that could take City's summer spending past the £100-million mark.

Guardiola confirmed City's interest in Sane five days ago but admitted that the Citizens and FC Schalke 04 were far from signing the 20-year-old, saying: "Of course we talk to him - Schalke knows we are interested, but at this moment we don't have many possibilities to get him. There is a difference between Manchester City and Schalke and it is quite big. I do not know what is going to happen but right now he is with Schalke."

Schalke apparently wants €50 million (£41.8 million) for Sane, who tallied eight goals and six assists through 33 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, and was subsequently called up to Germany's squad for Euro 2016.

Meanwhile, Jesus, a 19-year-old forward from Palmeiras, is allegedly valued at £26 million. Juventus reportedly submitted a €20-million (£16.7-million) bid for the teenager that was rejected, and a deal between City and the Brazilian club is understood to be close.

Jesus is a physical player and a terrifying sight for any defender. His strength allows him to consistently win fights for the ball, his vision allows him to put the ball on a silver platter for his teammates, and his dribbling skills make it seem as though the ball is attached to his feet with a string.

As for Moreno, a 19-year-old who is perhaps the most promising youngster in South America, he has apparently agreed to join City from Atletico Nacional for a fee in the region of £8 million.

A wonderful mix of pace, skill, and mobility, Moreno can beat his opponent on either side, can take out a defensive unit with one pass, and can seemingly hit the target from anywhere on the pitch. He is also mature beyond his years, as his instinct to play collectively rather than individually isn't typical of South American adolescents.

It is largely because of Moreno that Nacional is in the final of this year's Copa Libertadores.

Should City sign Sane, Jesus, and Moreno for the aforementioned prices, the Citizens, having bought Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito, and Oleksandr Zinchenko for an alleged total of £36 million, would break the £100-million barrier with a sum of £103.8 million.
