Guardiola has yet to master the art of saying goodbye.
The Bayern Munich manager couldn't help but shed a tear as his chapter in Germany came to a close Sunday.
Earlier in the season, Guardiola announced he would leave the German champions and join Manchester City for the 2016-17 season once his duties with Bayern were completed.
He accomplished his last objective in charge of the German powerhouse by winning the DFB-Pokal, with a victory over rivals Borussia Dortmund, and completing the club's second consecutive double after also winning the Bundesliga in commanding fashion.
So, when it was time to celebrate in Munich and address the adoring supporters, an emotional Guardiola toasted the thousands of fans who lined the streets to celebrate and say goodbye to the Spanish gaffer.
Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has already been lined up to succeed Guardiola at the Allianz Arena next season.
