Boka extends Stuttgart stay
Stuttgart, Germany (Sports Network) - Stuttgart defender Arthur Boka has signed a new one-year contract with the club that will automatically be extended by a further year if he makes enough appearances.
The 29-year-old has already played 104 times for Stuttgart since joining the club from Strasbourg in 2006 and he is one of the few remaining players from Stuttgart's Bundesliga-winning side in 2007.
"We are delighted that Arthur has accepted our offer of a contract and showed his continued commitment to Stuttgart," the club's director of sport, Fredi Bobic said.
"Arthur is an international player who will do our team good with his quality and also his personality."
Boka appeared in 13 Bundesliga matches this past season for Stuttgart, which finished the campaign in sixth place.
