French Open play suspended due to rain
A grim weather forecast for Monday has suspended all French Open matches for the day.
Play will resume tomorrow, with the two women's fourth round tilts from Sunday night scheduled first.
Romanian sixth seed Simona Halep is up 5-3 in the opening set against Aussie Samantha Stosur, while second-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska holds a commanding 6-2, 3-0 advantage over Bulgarian long-shot Tsvetana Pironkova.
Should the weather cooperate, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will try to reach the quarterfinals for the 10th time against 14th-seeded Roberto Bautista Agut on Tuesday.
Also slated for Tuesday, hot-shot Austrian youngster Dominic Theim will be looking to continue his dazzling ascendancy against Spaniard Marcel Granollers.
On the women's side, both Williams sisters are set to play on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Defending champion Serena will be facing 18th-seeded Elina Svitolina, while Venus will be locking horns with last year's semifinalist Timea Bacsinszky.
