Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is being investigated for allegedly hitting a photographer at a nightclub in Dallas on Monday, police told Kelli Smith and Jamie Landers of The Dallas Morning News on Tuesday.
Officers were dispatched early Monday morning to the nightclub after reports of an assault. A man was reportedly taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Rice is suspected in the case, and his attorney declined to comment.
The 24-year-old is also facing potential NFL punishment after being arrested on eight felony charges following a multi-car crash in Dallas in late March.
The Chiefs drafted Rice in the second round in 2023 out of SMU.
